It's all about the berries!

For those who have been following our artists' progress as new "berry seats" appear each week, you will be happy to know that the project is nearly finished.  It's all about the berries.  This week, help us paint the final berries that will soon find a home on the roof at the Tuesday Market in Lauraville.

Berry seats offer unusual seating at the market.

Berries Galore

Berries aren't just delicious in pies, ice cream, freshly picked and popped in your mouth, but they also make great seats!

As you may remember, we were honored to be awarded a "Transformative Art"grant, from PNC and the Baltimore Office of Promotions, earlier on this year. The project is now in full swing with berries popping up around the market.

Jeanne-Marie Burdette has been hard at work creating each berry. She is currently in the process of making the small lightweight berries that will be found on roof, coming out of the soon-to-be created basket.

The berries that are currently sprawled across the market grounds have been being put to good use by many...
